Section 6 in Chhattisgarh Rice Procurement (Levy) Order, 2007
6. Procedure of Giving Levy.
(1)Miller and Dealers shall sell to the purchase officer levy rice according to the return submitted under clause 5 in quantity given in clause 3 and 4.(2)Purchase officer shall accept rice only of the quality which is as per the specifications fixed by the Government of India for each Kharif marketing season.(3)In the event of a dispute regarding the quality of rice being as per the specifications fixed by Government of India, the purchase officer shall take three representative samples of rice and seal them as far as possible in the presence of miller or his representative and give one sample to the miller or his representative, and send two samples for analysis to the laboratory of Food Corporation of India, and the result of this analysis shall be binding on both parties.
