Section 30(2)(ii) in The Bangalore Metro Railway (General) Rules, 2011

(ii)in the event of a mechanical defect in the traction motor or drive which causes the wheels to lock, the train shall be stopped immediately and shall not be moved until clearance has been given by a Rolling Sock Supervisor;
