(3)(a)Show cause Notice shall be given to the employee for punishing the employee under clause (a) (b) and (c) of sub-regulation (1).(b)Punishment shall be given by the Appointing Authority according to seriousness of the offence of charged employee, but no penalty shall be imposed without taking disciplinary action under clauses (d), (e), (f) and (g) of sub-regulation (1).(c)One or more punishments mentioned in sub-regulation (1) may be given to the guilty employee according to the discretion of disciplinary authority.
