This order shall govern the disposal of W.P. Nos. 3462/17, 3480/17, 3500/17, 3553/17, 3719/17, 3771/17, 3802/17, 3844/17, 3845/17, 3846/17, 3847/17, 3849/17, 3866/17, 3962/17, 4089/17, 4259/17 and 4260/17.
These petitions are directed against the resolution passed by Jiwaji University, whereby an application for grant of affiliation to the petitioners' institution for B.Ed. course for session 2017-18 has been turned down on the ground that respective institutions have not fulfilled the stipulations contained in Regulation 28(17) of College Code/Statute No.
28. 4 W.P. Nos. 3462/17, 3480/17, 3500/17, 3553/17, 3719/17, 3771/17, 3802/17, 3844/17, 3845/17, 3846/17, 3847/17, 3849/17, 3866/17, 3962/17, 4089/17, 4259/17 and 4260/17 When the matter is taken up today, it is submitted by respective counsel for the petitioners that instead of pursuing the matter further, the petitioners may be given liberty to represent the matter with the Jiwaji University for fresh consideration of the claim and a direction to the University to consider the same strictly in accordance with the statute in vogue.
Learned appearing counsel for the University has no objection if the petition is disposed of in the above limited terms.
In view whereof, petition is disposed of with a liberty to the respective petitioners to file representation to the University within a period of 15 days. The University on receiving such representation shall dwell upon the individual representation and consider the same in accordance with law in vogue and pass a reasoned order thereon within a period of 30 days from the date of receiving the representation. It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
Petitions are disposed of finally in above terms.
