(7)Qualifying marks shall be 45% in each written paper. In order to be declared successful in the examination, a candidate must secure at least qualifying marks in each written paper separately. If a successful candidate obtained 75%, or more of the marks in one or more written papers in his first attempt, he shall be declared to have qualified with distinction in that subject or subjects.
