Section 2(30) in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975
(30)"water connection" includes -(a)any tank, cistern, hydrant, stand-pipe, meter or tap, situated on any private property and connected with a main or other pipe belonging to Jal Sansthan; and(b)the water pipe connecting such a tank, cistern, hydrants, stand-pipe, meter or tap, with such main or pipe;
