(2)Without prejudice to the generality of the provisions contained in subsection (1), the Director shall,-(a)exercise general supervision and control over the affairs of the Institute and its affiliates;(b)ensure implementation of the decisions of the authorities of the Institute and responsible for imparting of instruction and maintenance of discipline in the Institute;(c)the Director shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be assigned to him under this Act, or as may be delegated to him by the Governing Council or the Vice President, as the case may be.
