21. Powers & Duties of the Faculty Advisory Committees- (1) The Faculty Advisory
Committee shall advise & guide in making the course offered in the respective Facultiesmore comprehensive, contemporary and relevant. The suggestions, recommendations andadvice of the Faculty Advisory committees shall be placed in the Boards of Studies &Academic Council or any other body as may be necessary.(2)The Faculty Advisory Committee may suggest to invite any distinguishedperformer, artist, scholar or writer or any other person whom the committee consider asuseful as Visiting Faculty, Guru or writer/artist/ scholar in Residence or Professor Emeritus,for the benefit of the students with approval of the Vice – Chancellor.(3)Chairman & four members shall constitute the quorum for the meeting of theFaculty Advisory Committee and shall be open to the Chairman of the Faculty AdvisoryCommittee to invite any expert to one or more meetings of the Committee as deemed necessary.
