24. District Cornmittee.
(1)TheQoverninesit, may, by order, establish a District Committee of Senior Citizens for each District to advise in effective and co-ordinated implementation of the Act at district level, and to perform such other functions in relation to senior citizens at the district level, asthe Government may, specify.(2)The District Committee shall meet once in every quarter.(3)Composition of the District Committee, tenure of members (other than ex-officio Members), rules of procedure and other ancillary matters shall be such as the State Government may, by order, specify.
