Section 5A(1) in Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2008
(1)Distribution of Seats. - (a) Fifty percent seats of the total sanctioned seats of,-(i)the Bachelor of Technology (Information and Communication) in the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology established under the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Act, 2003 (Guj 6 of 2003), and(ii)the Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering Courses in the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University established under the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Act, 2007 (Guj. 14 of 2007)-shall be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in the Gujarat State and have appeared in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), for the academic year 2011-2012, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.(b)Fifty percent seats of the total sanctioned seats shall be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India including the Gujarat State and have appeared in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), for the academic year 2011-2012, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi,
