Section 12(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)have passed Junior. High School Examination of VIII class of the Institution recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad or an examination recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad or an examination recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad as equivalent thereto with Hindi, English and Mathematics;
