Candidates for admission in the First Year Class of the Secondary Technical Certificate Course should-(1)have passed Junior. High School Examination of VIII class of the Institution recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad or an examination recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad or an examination recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P., Allahabad as equivalent thereto with Hindi, English and Mathematics;(2)be not less than 13 years or more than 20 years of age on ends inclusive of June 30 of the calendar year of admission;Provided that the upper age limit prescribed above in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates shall be relaxable by three years :Provided further that in the case of other deserving candidates the upper age limit may be relax up to 2 years by the Principal.(3)be physically fit to undergo the training.
