Section 15(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)Candidate for the First Year Annual Examination of Diploma or Certificate Course shall be required to have fulfilled the minimum educational qualification prescribed therefor under these regulations and to have attended an Engineering or the Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session.
