Section 15 in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
15. Courses running on annual basis.
(1)Candidate for the First Year Annual Examination of Diploma or Certificate Course shall be required to have fulfilled the minimum educational qualification prescribed therefor under these regulations and to have attended an Engineering or the Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session.(2)Candidates for the Second Year Annual Examination of Diploma or Certificate Course shall be required to have passed the First Year Annual Examination conducted by the Board and to have attended anEngineering or Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.(3)In the case of Part Time Diploma Course having a duration of Four Years, candidate for the Third Year Annual Examination shall be required to have passed the Second Year Annual Examination conducted by the Board and to have attended an Engineering or Technological Institutions affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.(4)Candidate for the Final Examination of Diploma Course shall be required to have passed the First or Second Year or Third Year Annual Examination, as the case may be, conducted by the Board and to have attended an Engineering or Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.(5)Candidate for the Final Secondary Technical Certificate Examination shall be required to passed the educational qualification prescribed thereafter. They shall also be required to have passed the Second Year Annual Examination conducted by a Secondary Technical School affiliated to the Board and attended Secondary Technical School affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.(6)Candidate for the First Examination of the Post Diploma Course must have attained the requisite qualification as prescribed by the Board, from time to time, and to have attended an Engineering Institution affiliated to the Board in that course for period of not less than one session thereafter.
