Section 21 in Punjab Urban Estates (Development and Regulation) Act, 1964
21. Protection of action taken in good faith.
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Chief Administrator, Estate Officer, or any other person acting under their direction in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or of any rules, directions or orders made thereunder.(2)No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government, the Chief Administrator or the Estate Officer or any other person in respect of any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules, directions or orders made thereunder.
