(1)Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the powers conferred on the University by or under this'Act, shall extend to the areas comprised within the limits of revenue districts of Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Datia, Dewas, Ratlam, Shajapur, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ujjain, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Khargone, Blidwanv Khandwa, Burhanpur, BhopaU Sehore and Rajgarh.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force,, no college or educational institution situated within the areas specified in sub-section (1) imparting instructions in agriculture and other allied sciences for bachelors degree and / or above, shall be associated in any way with or be admitted to any privilege of any other University incorporated by law in India and any such privilege granted by any such other University to any educational institution within-those limits prior to the commencement of this Act,, shall be deemed to be withdrawn on the commencement of this Act and such institution shall stand affiliated to the University till the date they are transferred to the University under Section 57.(3)The.research and extension work undertaken or conducted by or on behalf of the Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya in the field of agriculture and allied sciences within the areas specified in sub-section (1) shall be coordinated with and integrated into the activities of the University-(a)with effect from such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification, specify and different dates may be specified for co-ordination and integration;(b)and in such manner and to such extent as may be determined by the State Government.
