(2)The Board shall consist of-(i)the Heads of University Departments concerned;(ii)[not more than ten Heads] [These words were substituted for the words 'ten Heads' by Maharashtra 58 of 1974, section 6.] of Departments in Colleges [and recognised Institutions] [These words were inserted by Maharashtra 32 of 1978, section 7.] teaching the subjects at the special, principal or major level, to be elected from amongst themselves as prescribed by the Statutes;(iii)three persons [to be co-opted by the Board, who have with specialised knowledge in the subjects and who are not teachers] [These words were substituted for the words 'with specialised knowledge in the subjects, who are not teachers' by Maharashtra 42 of 1974, section 2.] in this University, or in any other University or in any college; and(iv)two persons to be co-opted by the Board, from amongst the Teachers who are not Heads of Departments.
