The State Government may for reasons to be recorded in writing exempt an Engineer from passing the examination fully or in part for any of the following grounds namely :(a)[ If he has acquired sufficient knowledge and practical experience in Electrical or Mechanical or Telecommunication engineering subject, or] [Substituted vide O.G.E. No. 19142, dated 13.6.1977.](b)If he has been in service under another Government or Firm prior to his appointment and he had passed the examination under that Government or firm provided that the subjects of examinations were substantially the same as mentioned in these rules.Chapter-IV
