Section 20(a) in Orissa Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication (Departmental and Professional Examination) Engineering Service Rules, 1957
(a)as to afford him to gain experience of work necessary to enable him to pass the examination. He shall personally compile for one month the accounts of a sub-division including the checking of measurement books, preparation of bills, contract's ledgers and other sub-divisional registers and posting of day books. Thereafter he shall spend a period of at least fifteen days in a Divisional Office where with the assistance of the Accountant he shall compile the divisional accounts of at least one month.
