Section 11(11) in Jammu and Kashmir State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Multi Year Generation Tariff) Regulations, 2016
11.1The Tariff for supply of electricity from a thermal generating station shall comprise of two parts, namely, capacity charge (for recovery of annual fixed cost) and energy charge (for recovery of primary fuel cost and secondary fuel cost & limestone where applicable) to be worked out in the manner provided hereinafter.
