(1)The Executive Officer shall, -(a)carry on the day to day administration of the Municipal Council or the Nagar Panchayat, as the case may be;(b)exercise the powers and perform the functions specifically conferred or imposed upon him by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force;(c)assign the duties, and supervise and control the acts and proceedings of all officers and employees of the Municipal Council or the Nagar Panchayat as the case may be.(2)All officers and employees of the Municipal Council or the Nagar Panchayat, as the case may be, shall be subordinate to the Executive Officer.Nagar PanchayatPowers and Functions of Nagar Panchayat
