12. Language Pandits Common Entrance Test.
- Conduct by Association of Colleges (Language Pandits Common Entrance Test of Association of Colleges).(i)Association of Colleges of Language Pandits - Formation and its Functions:-(a)There may be an association of colleges of Pandit training recognized by the Director of School Education, Hyderabad as defined in Rule 2(1 )(ii) of these Rules to conduct LPCET-AC.(b)The Secretary of Association of Colleges formed as in (a) above shall intimate its formation, rules and bye laws and the names of the office bearers, before the stipulated date, to the competent authority and Chairman of Permanent Committee,(c)The Permanent Committee shall invite options from the Managements of all Pandit Training Colleges for admitting their students as per either Language Pandits Common Entrance Test or Language Pandits Common Entrance Test of Association of Colleges.(d)The option of choosing, between LPCET or LPCET-AC shall be exercised by the managements of the colleges to fill seats and shall be intimated in writing before a stipulated date to the Competent authority and the permanent committee. In case of failure on the part of any management to exercise their option it shall be construed that they shall admit the candidates into their colleges for the seats only on the basis of the rank at LPCET conducted by the Convenor in which case the convenor for admission shall approve the above admissions.(ii)Constitution of Committee of LPCET-ACThe Association of Colleges with eminent members and academicians concerned shall constitute the Committee of LPCET-AC. A member of this committee shall be appointed as Convenor of the Committee of LPCET-AC to discharge functions as assigned by the committee of LPCET-AC.
