Section 7(d) in The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board's Sewerage Regulations, 1988
(d)Concrete: Cement concrete shall be composed of one part portland cement, three parts clean sharp sand and six parts (measured by volume) clean hard broken stone. The broken stone to be of size which will pass through 40mm sieve and thoroughly mixed with a proper proportion of clean water.
