Section 12 in National Institute of Fashion Technology Statutes, 2020
12. Finance and Audit Committee.
(1)There shall be a Finance and Audit Committee consisting of the following members, namely: -(a)Financial Advisor of the Ministry of Textiles in the Government of India dealing with the Institute, who shall be the Chairperson of the Committee-ex officio;(b)Director General of the Institute-member ex officio;(c)Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles in the Government of India dealing with the Institute-member-ex officio;(d)two other members of the Board to be nominated by the Board.(2)The Director (Finance and Accounts) shall be a permanent invitee to the meetings of the Committee.(3)The Chairperson may invite any other functionary of the Institute or any other expert to participate in a meeting of the Committee, whenever he considers it necessary.
