Section 23 in Prevention Of Collision On National Waterways Regulations, 2002
23. Lights to be exhibited by mechanically propelled vessel under-way.-
(a)A mechanically propelled vessel under way shall exhibit:(i)A mast headlight forward.(ii)Side lights.(iii)a stern light.(b)A mechanically propelled vessel of less than 10 metres in length in lieu of the lights prescribed in paragraph (a) may exhibit and alround white light, and shall if practicable also exhibit side lights or a combined lantern.
