Section 65(1) in The Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007
(1)The State Marketing Officer may remove a member, Chairman, or Vice-Chairman of the Marketing Board where he is of the opinion that:-(a)such member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman has been guilty for misconduct or for gross negligence of his duty as member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman;(b)such member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman has ceased to hold the qualification necessary for his being a member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman, as the case may be.
