Section 28 in The Rajasthan Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Act, 2000
28. Resident Instruction.
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, Resident Instruction in the University shall include Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree programme and short term diploma courses in the disciplines of Agriculture including basic and applied science. Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Engineering and Technology, Home Science, Dairy and Food Science and other allied sciences as may be prescribed.(2)Resident Instruction Programmes may be based on modern system of Agriculture Education with the objective of producing competent and practical oriented graduates and post-graduates to handle production, management, research, extension education and teaching work in the field of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and allied branches.(3)The existing colleges and teaching units alongwith the facilities and the budgets in the field of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Home Science etc. in the Government Departments may be transferred to the University with effect from such date as the Government may notify.
