Section 21(2) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(2)The Dean shall-(i)formulate and present policies to the Academic Council for its consideration;(ii)make report to the Vice-Chancellor on the work of the different departments of the Faculty;(iii)supervise the registration and progress of the students in the colleges of the Faculty:(iv)be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the proper use of buildings assigned to the colleges, schools and research institutions and of the requirements thereof;(v)prepare the budget in consultation with the appropriate officers and staff members in the technical area.
