Section 38(2) in The Static and Mobile Pressure Vessels (Unfired) Rules, 2016
(2)Protection of piping and equipment. -(i)all piping and equipment shall be adequately protected to minimise accidental damage which may be caused by rough usage, collision or over-turning;(ii)any equipment or section of piping in which liquid may be trapped shall be protected against excessive pressure caused by thermal expansion of the contents.
