(5)All colleges within the University area which immediately before the notified date,-(a)continue to be affiliated to, or approved by or recognized by, the Madurai-Kamaraj University; and(b)provide courses of study for admission to the examination for degrees and diplomas of the Madurai-Kamaraj University, shall be deemed to be colleges affiliated to, or approved by the Alagappa University under this Act and the provisions of this Act shall, as far as may be, apply accordingly.
