Section 39(1) in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
(1)The Election Officer shall, subject to the provisions of Rule 34, in so far as they apply to any particular case :(a)declare in Form 17 the candidate to whom the largest number of valid votes have been given, (to be elected under Rule 41) and send signed copies thereof to the Election Authority and the District Election Authority; and(b)complete the entries of the result of election of Form 16 and send signed copies thereof to the Election Authority and the District Election Authority.
