Section 64(1) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Statutes, 1990
(1)The Selection Committee shall consist of the following members, namely :(i)The Vice-Chancellor of the University.(ii)One Dean of any of the Faculty of the University nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.(iii)One Director mentioned in category (b) under section 14, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.(iv)The member of the Executive Council representing the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.(v)The Chairman of the Selection Committee may at his discretion, from time to time shall nominate on the Selection Committee not more than two experts not necessarily working under the University, as a member/members.(vi)Two non official members, of the Executive Council, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.(vii)The Registrar.
