Section 5(1) in The First Statute under the Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(1)The Board of Studies shall be constituted in accordance with sub-section (3) of Section 14 of the Act. The Dean will preside. In his absence, the members present shall elect a Chairman from amongst the Heads of Departments.
