Mizoram Parliamentary Secretaries (Appointment, Salaries, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2009(Act No. 3 of 2009)Last Updated 11th February, 2020[Dated 03.04.2009]An Act to provide for the Appointment, Salaries, Allowances and other Miscellaneous Provisions of the Parliamentary Secretaries in the State of Mizoram.It is enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram in this Sixtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows, namely:-

1. Short title, Extent and commencement.

(1)This Act may be called the Mizoram Parliamentary Secretaries (Appointment, Salaries, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2009
(2)It extends to the whole of Mizoram.
(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force from 29th December, 2008.

2. Definitions.

- In this Bill, unless the context otherwise required:-
(a)"Chief Minister" means the Chief Minister of Mizoram;

'A'

Form of Oath of Office and Secrecy for a Parliamentary Secretary
'I, A.B., do| swear in the name of Godsolemnly affirm| that I will bear true faith and allegiance the Constitution of India as by law established, [that I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India,] that I will
faithfully and conscientiously discharge my duties as a Parliamentary Secretary of ...................... and that I will do right to all manner of people in accordance with the Constitution and the law without fear or favour, affection or ill-will.
'I, A.B., do| swear in the name of Godsolemnly affirm| that I will not directly or indirectly communicate or reveal to any person or persons any matter which shall be brought under my consideration or shall
become known to me as a Parliamentary Secretary of........................ except as may required for the due discharge of my duties as such Parliamentary Secretary.'
