Section 12(1) in The U.P. Cold Storage Order, 1972
(1)The Licensing Officer or any other officer authorised by him in writing in this behalf, may with a view to securing compliance with this Order-(a)require any holder of a licence to give any information in his possession with respect to the agricultural produce stored by him in the cold storage;(b)enter and search any premises, where the cold storage is installed or run, at any time with a view to satisfying himself that the requirements of this Order are being complied with.
