Section 55(3) in The M.P. Krishi Upaj Mandi (Mandi Samiti Ka Nirvachan) Rules, 1997
(3)The Presiding Officer shall thereafter hold a summary inquiry into the challenge and may for that purpose;(a)require the challenger to adduce evidence in proof of the challenge and the person challenged to adduce evidence in proof of his identity;(b)put to the person challenged any questions necessary for the purpose of establishing his identity and require him to answer them on oath; and(c)administer an oath to the person challenged and other person offering to give evidence.
