Section 43(1) in Manipur International University Act, 2018
(1)The basic responsibilities of Governing Board members shall be;(a)to act reasonably to ensure that the Governing Board carries out its functions and exercises its powers appropriately, effectively and efficiently;(b)to act in good faith, honestly and for proper purposes consistent with the objects and interests of the University;(c)to exercise reasonable skill, appropriate care and diligence; and to take reasonable steps to avoid all conflicts of interest unless they are declared in accordance with the Constitution and Governance of the University under this Act or its Statutes, its Ordinances, rules and regulations made there under.
