Section 4 in The Garo Hills Cotton Jute and Ginger Trade Regulation, 1980

4. Class of Licence.

(1)There shall be two classes of licence, viz., General and Selective. General licence holder shall be entitled to deal in the trade in the whole district whereas selective licence holder shall be entitled to deal in the trade in the Scheduled Hats, not exceeding three in number to be specified in the licence;
(2)Both General and Selective licence holder shall be entitled to deal in cotton, jute and ginger as the case may be or all of them simultaneously as specified in the licence.
