(1)The Returning Officer may appoint such number of Government Officers and employees as he may deem lit for effectually conducting the election in the manner provided by these regulations.(2)The Government Officers and employees for the purpose shall be paid such remuneration and travelling allowance as may be determined by the Returning Officer from time to time.(3)The Council shall sanction such advance for the elections of the members of the Council as may be proposed by the Returning Officer for defraying the anticipated expenditure on this account.
