Section 24(1) in Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948

(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Acts specified in column one of Part I of the Schedule, the Corporation may carry out all or any of the functions and exercise all or any of the powers of [State] [Substituted for the word "Provincial" by A.L.O., 1950] Government in the Damodar Valley under the provisions of such Acts specified in column two thereof against each item of column one.
