The Arbitration and Conciliation (Bihar Amendment) Act, 1999Bihar Act 20 of 2002Published in the Bihar Gazette (Extraordinary) dated 9.12.2002.An Act to amend the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the fiftieth year of the Republic of India as follows :-

1. Short title, extent and commencement.

- (i) This Act may be called the Arbitration and Conciliation (Bihar Amendment) Act, 1999.
(ii)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar.
(iii)It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Bihar Gazette.

2. Omission of sub-section (3) of Section-43 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

- Sub Section-3 of the Section 43 of the said Act shall be omitted.
