Section 3 in Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering including Technology/Pharmacy/ Architecture and Planning Courses Common Entrance Test Rules, 2007

3. Eligibility Criteria for appearing in the PGECET/PGECET-AC.

- Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for PGECET/PGECET-AC.
(1)The candidate should be of Indian Nationality
(2)The candidate should satisfy 'local'/ 'non-local' status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended.
(3)The candidate should have passed or appeared for the final year of B.Tech/ B. E/AMIE/B. Pharmacy/B. Arch/ B.Planning or equivalent Examination to seek admission into the Post Graduate courses and its specializations specified under the Categories below:-Category-I. - For conventional M.Tech/ M.E. programmes in Civil, ECE, Mechanical, EEE, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical Engineering, Chemical Engineering with related specializations, M.Pharmacy and M. Planning.Category-II. - M.Tech Programmes with Specializations in Remote Sensing, Geo Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Nano-Technology, Marine Engineering and Mechanical Handling, Industrial Metallurgy, Industrial Process Instrumentation and M. Planning.Category-III. - M.Arch (Architectural conservation, Architecture in Interior Design), M.U.R.P. and M.Tech programme in Energy Systems, Digital Systems and Computer Electronics, Embedded Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Geo-Matics, Spacial Information Technology, Geo-Informatics and Surveying Technology, Water and Environmental Technology, Control Engineering, Instrumentation and controls.
