1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha Adhiniyam, 2002.(2)It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.(3)It applies to the schools of the State Government and local body and schools receiving aid from the State Government. The provisions of this Act shall not apply to the institutions covered under Article 30 of the Constitution of India.(4)It shall come into force on such date as the [State Government may by notification appoint.] [Enforced on 1-7-2003 by Notification No. F-44-39-2001-XX-2, dated 28-6-2003.]
