2. The award.

- The State Government has instituted two types of award for excellent work in the field of teaching and education : -
2.1State level awards. - Four State level awards have been instituted. Each State level award shall be of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only). State level awards shall be the following : -
(A)Dr. Padumlal Punnalal Baxi memorial award
(B)Dr. Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh memorial award
(C)Dr. Mukutdhar Pandey memorial award
(D)Dr. Baldev Prasad Mishra memorial award
2.2District level awards. - There shall be a district level award for each education district. Each district level award shall be of Rs. 11,000/- (Rupees eleven thousand only).
