Section 45(1) in The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Orissa Rules, 1980
(1)The contractor shall provide to every migrant workman -(i)in case he is accompanied by any other member of his family, a suitable quarter consisting of minimum one room having at least a floor area of 10 Square Metres, a verandah and adequate additional covered space for cooking food as well as one common sanitary latrine, one common bathroom for every three such quarters; and(ii)in case he is unaccompanied by any other member of his family, a suitable barrack so as to accommodate not more than ten such migrant workman, having a floor area of not less than 6.5 square metres for each such migrant workman making use of the barrack, a verandah and adequate additional covered space for cooking food as well as one common sanitary latrine and one common bathroom for every such migrant workmen.Within fifteen days of coming into force of the rules in the case of the existing establishments and within fifteen days of the commencement of the employment of migrant workmen in new establishments.
