15. Selection Board.
- The Selection Boards as referred to in Rules 11, 12 and 13 shall consist of the following :(1)Selection Board for the posts of Chief Engineer and Additional Chief Engineer:Chairman :(i)Chief Secretary Member :(ii)Secretary, Irrigation.(iii)Secretary, Flood Control.Member-Secretary :(iv)Secretary, P.W.D.(2)Selection Board for promotion from Assistant Engineer to Assistant Executive Engineer ; from Assistant Executive Engineer to Executive Engineer ; from Assistant Research Officer to Research Officer ; from Assistant Architect to Deputy Architect ; from Deputy Architect to Architect; from Architect to Senior Architect:Member and Secretary-(i)Secretary, P.W.D.Members :(ii)Chief Engineer, P.W.D.(iii)A representative of Personnel (A) Department not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to be nominated by the Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department.Selection Board for promotion of Subordinate Engineers to Assistant Engineers :Chairman :(i)Chairman or Member, Assam Public Service Commission nominated by its Chairman.Members-(ii)Secretary, P.W.D.(iii)A representative of Personnel (A) DepartmentMember-Secretary:(iv)Chief Engineer, P.W.D.
