Section 51 in M.P. Industrial Disputes Rules, 1957
51. Officers of the committee.
(1)The Committee shall have among its office bearers a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Secretary and a Joint Secretary. The Secretary and the Joint Secretary shall be elected every year.(2)The Committee shall elect the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman :Provided that where the Chairman is elected from amongst the representatives of the employers, the Vice-Chairman shall be elected from amongst the representatives of workmen and vice versa :Provided further that the post of the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman, as the case may be, shall not be held by a representative of the employer or the workmen, for two consecutive terms.(3)The Committee shall elect the Secretary and the Joint Secretary :Provided that where the Secretary is elected from amongst the representatives of the employers, the Joint Secretary shall be elected from amongst the representatives of the workmen and vice versa :Provided further that the post of the Secretary or the Joint Secretary, as the case may be, shall not be held by a representative of the employer or the workmen, for two consecutive years.
