Section 41 in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
41. Research Programme.
(1)The University shall establish a research service. The Research and Experiment Stations of the University shall be conducted by it as Constituent Research Institutions in such manner and with such suitable changes as the University may consider appropriate.(2)The University shall according to need establish or reorganise experimental stations for research, both fundamental and applied, at suitable places in University.(3)The University may, at any time close down, curtail or expand either permanently or temporarily any of the research stations as the University may think appropriate.
