Section 2 in The Tamil Nadu Horse Races (Abolition Of Wagering Or Betting) Act, 1974
2. Amendment of Tamil Nadu Act 7 of 1949.—
(1)in sub-section (2), the portion commencing with the expression "and Sections 2 and 4" and ending with the expression "appoint", shall be omitted.(2)after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:"(3) Sections 2 and 4 shall come into force on the 31st March 1975, notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force or in any notification or order issued by the Government."
