Section 108 in The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014
108. Power to remove difficulties.
(1)If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the President may, by order do anything not inconsistent with such provisions which appears to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of three years from the appointed day.(2)Every order made under this section shall be laid before each House of Parliament.THE FIRST SCHEDULE(See section 13)(i)Of the five sitting members whose term of office will expire on 9th April, 2014, namely, Shri T. Subbarami Reddy, Shri Nandi Yellaiah, Shri Mohammed Ali Khan, Smt. T. Ratna Bai and Shri K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao, such two as the Chairman of the Council of States may determine by drawing lots shall be deemed to have been elected to fill two of the seven seats allotted to the State of Telangana and the other three sitting members shall be deemed to have been elected to fill three of the eleven seats allotted to the State of Andhra Pradesh.(ii)Of the six sitting members whose term of office will expire on 21st June, 2016, namely, Shri Jesudasu Seelam, Shri Jairam Ramesh, Shri N. Janardhana Reddy, Shri V. Hanumantha Rao, Smt. Gundu Sudharani and Shri Y.S. Chowdary, such two as the Chairman of the Council of States may determine by drawing lots shall be deemed to have been elected to fill two of the seats allotted to the State of Telangana and the other four sitting members shall be deemed to have been elected to fill four of the seats allotted to the State of Andhra Pradesh.(iii)Of the six sitting Members representing the State of Andhra Pradesh whose term of office will expire on 2nd April, 2018, namely, Shri Ananda Baskar Rapolu, Shri K. Chiranjeevi, Shri Palvai Govardhana Reddy, Smt. Renuka Chowdhury, Shri T. Devender Goud and Shri C.M. Ramesh, such three as the Chairman of the Council of States may determine by drawing lots shall be deemed to have been elected to fill three of the seats allotted to the State of Telangana and the other three sitting members shall be deemed to have been elected to fill the three of the seats allotted to the State of Andhra Pradesh.(iv)The term of one seat which is to expire on 9th April, 2014 and has become vacant due to resignation of Shri Nandamuri Harikrishna on 22nd August, 2014, shall be allotted to the State of Andhra Pradesh.THE SECOND SCHEDULE(See section 15)Amendments to The Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008In the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituency Order, 2008, -
